Μετά τις προ-οσκαρικές Χρυσές Σφαίρες (που μάλλον τους άφησαν όλους ευχαριστημένους), σήμερα είχαμε την ανακοίνωση των υποψηφιοτήτων για την 86η τελετή των Oscars. H μεγάλη βραδιά, θα λάβει χώρα στο Dolby Theatre του Χόλιγουντ την Κυριακή 2 Μαρτίου, με οικοδέσποινα την Ellen DeGeneres για δεύτερη φορά(η πρώτη το 2007). American Hustle και Gravity πρώτευσαν στις υποψηφιότητες με 10 η κάθε μία, ενώ ακριβώς μετά, το 12 Years a Slave συγκέντρωσε 9.
Αρκετά καλή παρουσία είχαν και τα Nebraska, Captain Phillips,με 6 υποψηφιότητες, ενώ Wolf of Wall Street, Her και Dallas Buyers Club ακολούθησαν με 5. «Πανωλεθρία» για το Inside Llewyn Davis που προτάθηκε μόνο για καλύτερη φωτογραφία και sound mixing.
